Why lookie here, it's 21 minutes until midnight.

Do you know what day tomorrow is? Wow. How'd you guess? My birthday! I'm not sure why I'm psyched, since I don't really want to get older, but hey, it's a special day. It's a time that I can say "Yay me!" without seeming egoistic.

Anyways, today, it was Secret Santa for my advisory, and so we swapped gifts. What did I get you ask? Only the best presents of all time: A Disney coloring book, Disney pencil crayons, Disney pens/erasers, and Disney chopsticks (huh, what? That's right. Chopsticks), along with non-disney chocolates. I think I've found my new best friend, especially since I've recently (as in the past month) been re-watching every Disney movie I can get my hands on.

Disney, disney, disney. I'm sure you've all seen some of their movies. I've been so inspired by the characters and the fluid movements, especially since I'm in a course called Cartooning and Animation, and discovered that it's nearly impossible to make things flow. The characters have so much personality, even non-speaking objects like the Cricket in Mulan and the Magic Carpet in Aladdin. The plots/story lines are also really complex, so I'm not sure how I understood everything when I was younger, but I remember that it was entertaining. So yea, my fav characters are Mushu and the Cricket (Mulan), Megara (Hercules), Simba (Lion King), and of course, Ariel (The Little Mermaid).

In fact, I've been so enchanted by Disney that I've looked up some "How to Draw" books, so you should expect some Disney fanart coming your way soon! I haven't scanned my sketches yet, but I'll do that when I'm not too lazy, and line/color them in.

So yea, that's all for now. It's now 12 mins until my birthday, so I'll end this entry now.
